The Party Wall act was brought into action on July 01, 1997 in Lower Holloway and has been enforced up to this day. The act was established to reduce the chances of disputes as well as other issues which may have been developed in the surveying and construction industry. In this act, it is noted once agreed upon, any damages which may occur during works will have to be resolved by the owner of the property where the damage was made. The act established should be followed accordingly or there may be penalties attached.
